| Sorry, I don't understand--what do you mean by "window grabs the focus"? | |
| Re[2]: Possible to prevent grabbing of Focus? ¶ | |
| Simple example case: Open a browser window to the dynarch homepage. Open another browser window to any other page, and overlap the two (i.e. not full-screen)... click "reload" on the dynarch page, and while the page is loading click over to your other browser window (as if to do some work there). When the page with the dynarch menu finishes loading, that browser window will jump over top of the other window you were working in (grabbing focus). Behavior noted on both Firefox and IE (latest of both) on WinXP. We're currently evaluating this menu for purchase; if we can't find a workaround to avoid this behavior we might not be able to use it (based on the desgin of our site/app -- users are often working in multiple windows asynchronously. Thanks for your help! | |

| Re[3]: Possible to prevent grabbing of Focus? ¶ | |
| This might be a behavior of the Dynarch.com site, but it's independent of DynarchMenu. We have places where we manually call "window.focus()" to bring the window on top, but that's unrelated to DynarchMenu. DynarchMenu does not enforce the window where it is created to gain focus—please download the trial version and check it out yourself. ;-) | |
