ok, so i tried the "demo version" of the "Dynarch Chat" on this website, and it SEEMED to operate a little bit like an IRC client - I would love to find out if it was 100% completely compatible with a TRUE IRC client !!

I only had 1 problem with the Dynarch Chat webpage application, however. I DID NOT LIKE AT ALL how it kept messing up my browser's HISTORY and "back-button" / "forward-button" arrows on my browser. I guess, that because of all the multiple page refreshes, it just kept loading up each successive version of the same page (with the chat open) on each entry in my browser's History ... basically I ended up with 100s of entries just for the same damn page! Could something be done to STOP the FLOODING / DOS'ing of my Browser History when the page refreshes for the chat update? Even better, why not use better AJAX techniques in order to not even have this happen at all? Refresh only a few tiny areas instead of the WHOLE DANG PAGE! ARGH .... how awful !!

If something could be done about that problem then I might be sold :-) Otherwise, the rest of it seemed good to me thus far .... I just hope DynArch.com can fix that 1 really bad BUG ... and I call it a BUG because I do NOT LIKE it messing with my History log on my Browser - THAT is UNACCEPTABLE ... and it's just not worth it, to me. Max. 3 History Entries only, should be the mantra for the debugging programmers working on this BUG ... Thank you! :-)

You're right about browser history, but you're plain wrong about refreshes. We don't refresh the full page.

Anyway... we'll probably fix this, once you get lost. ;-)
